About Us

Macaco was founded in May of 2000 by Anish Srivastava and Pankaj Mody. Both have several years of professional experience and have a passion for technologies and services related to wireless internet. Since the inception of Macaco their goal has been to create a world class wireless internet services practice catering to various industries.


Anish Srivastava | Co-founder

  • Egreetings Network | Integration Architect - worked closely with the Engineering and Business Development departments to provide technical insight for partnerships and company strategic directions for e-commerce and wireless.
  • Bank of America | Software Consultant - worked in the core team to design and build one of the first internet credit card consumer services from product definition through pilot production. Evaluated technologies, designed and developed an integrated solution of various Global Capital Markets applications.
  • Sun Microsystems | Software Consultant - designed and implemented both back-end and front-end of various intranet applications; worked closely with end-users and business departments.

Pankaj Mody | Co-founder

  • Multex | As Director of Application Development, Pankaj manages the development of a robust market data architecture for this next-generation financial research portal.
  • Dresdner Kleinwort Benson | Pankaj was brought on board to evaluate various technologies and design a straight through processing system for their trading desks globally.
  • CIBC World Markets | As a member of the Fixed-Income Structured Products group, Pankaj designed and implemented a trading risk-management engine which models complex financial derivative instruments.
  • Andersen Consulting | Pankaj was a senior consultant in Andersen's Object Solutions Group. He solved problems using cutting-edge technologies both in the U.S. and overseas. His clients include Allstate Insurance, Bell Atlantic (formerly NYNEX) and Brooklyn Union Gas.
